With a background that includes software engineering, systems infrastructure, investment banking and almost every finance role imaginable, Kim is the epitome of dynamism. She’s pursued new intellectual territory wherever possible: consulting assignments around the globe, a B.S. in engineering from the University of Illinois at Urbana/Champaign, and an M.B.A. from Harvard. Before coming to Lytro, Kim provided financial oversight for the majority of Google’s $4 billion R&D expense and helped to build the financial planning and analysis team at Google from fewer than a dozen to hundreds of professionals worldwide. When not hunting for new challenges, she delights in food and wine, travel, biking, hiking, and playing with her two young boys.
